One of the UK’s Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers, Clarkson Evans, is seeking Apprentice Electricians to join their busy Oxford branch.

The electrical giant is on the hunt for enthusiastic, determined and committed apprentices as their order book booms in the area.

The company has an impressive 17 branches and over 750 staff across the UK. Clarkson Evans is the UK’s leading electrical contractor for wiring new homes, working with all of the leading house builders. Last year they installed the electrics in over 16,000 properties.

As a Clarkson Evans apprentice, you’ll gain real on-site experience and benefit from exceptional training with opportunities to progress within the company and earn bonus payments to reward you for hard work. 

You’ll typically work on site four days per week and will be part of a small team, working alongside an experienced electrician and usually a second or third year apprentice. Meanwhile for one day a week you’ll attend training at one of the company’s purpose-built centres.

All future bright sparks must be aged 18 plus and have a full driving licence. Ideally, you’ll have GCSE grade Cs or above in English, maths and a science but if you haven’t got these you might have the practical experience to make up for it.
